Gas Safe Register
Anyone working on gas appliances in the UK must be on the Gas Safe Register and hold valid ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1 etc.). HireWiz verifies registration before any gas profile or job goes live.
F-Gas regulation (EU 517/2014 retained)
Engineers working with fluorinated greenhouse gases (refrigeration, AC, heat pumps) need current F-Gas certification at the correct category (1–4). We check certificate and expiry on every relevant profile.
NICEIC & Competent Person Schemes
Electrical work in dwellings must comply with Part P. Employers operate under NICEIC, NAPIT or similar competent-person schemes. We surface scheme membership on every electrical employer.
CSCS for site access
Most construction sites require a valid CSCS card. We tag candidate profiles with current card status so site-based employers can filter quickly.
