Is HireWiz free for candidates?+
Yes — creating a profile, applying to jobs and messaging employers is completely free for candidates.
How are credentials handled?+
Candidates add their Gas Safe, NICEIC and F-Gas details, and credentials are shown where provided or verified.
Do employers pay per applicant?+
No — you pay a simple flat fee per job post. There is no agency-style commission, no success fee and no percentage of salary.
Can I post a subcontract role?+
Yes — pick "Subcontract / day-rate" when posting and the listing surfaces to relevant self-employed candidates.
Is my data shared with third parties?+
No. We only share your profile with employers you apply to or message. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
What happens if my ticket expires?+
Keep your certification details up to date in your profile so employers always see current information.
How do I delete my account?+
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
Do you cover the whole UK?+
Yes — HireWiz operates across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
How are jobs verified?+
Employer listings are reviewed before going live, and you can report anything that looks wrong from our Report a Job page.
I think a listing is fake — what now?+
Use our Report a Job page and we'll review it. If a listing appears inaccurate, misleading, or non-compliant, we may remove it or take appropriate action.
